Kobe Bryant: Millions of people mourn after the basketball superstar died in a helicopter crash

6’7” Jersey number 24 of the LA Lakers, one of today’s worldwide basketball superstar Kobe Bryant.



Bryant played his entire 20-year career with the Los Angeles Lakers. He retired in April 2016. His achievements include being the 2008 NBA Most Valuable Player (MVP) and two-time NBA Finals MVP. He was also NBA scoring champion twice and a two-time Olympic champion. "Kobe was an exceptional basketball player," said Mr. Marcial. He was known for his caring heart and love of family. Unexpectedly last January 26, 2020 the US basketball legend Kobe Bryant has died in a helicopter crash in California. Bryant, 41, and his daughter Gianna, 13 years old, were among the nine killed when the aircraft came down in Calabasas, California, United States. There were no survivors from Sunday's crash which happened in foggy weather. Bryant, a five-time NBA champion, played for the LA Lakers throughout his career and is considered one of the greatest players in the game's history.


The death of Bryant sparked multiple remembrances and tributes, including those of incumbent U.S. president Donald Trump, and former U.S. presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton. Many Filipinos were affected by it, some artists, stars and students posted their reactions on social media to show their condolences. Kobe Bryant death makes us emotionally sad, and experience death and grief at some point in our life but always remember that through his life he inspired a generation of a basketball player and students worldwide through his skills and an unquenchable competitive.
